Peterborough United Women are favourites to win their FA Cup first round tie
Peterborough United are strong favourites to win their first round Women's FA Cup tie at Lye Town on Sunday.
But manager Jake Poole is expecting a tough test at the home of National League Midlands Division One side Lye Town. That’s the division dominated by Posh last season on their way to a title and promotion.

Poole said: “The FA Cup is obviously a very special competition and it is a competition that we want to progress as far as we can in. Lye have picked up some good results after getting promotion in the summer and they will provide a tough test for us . ”
Posh will be without injured defender Hayley James.
The winners will host Rugby Borough in the second round on Sunday, November 15. Rugby are top of the National Northern Premier Division, nine points and five places above Posh.
**Former Posh centre-back Niamh Connor has joined Cambridge United who play in a National League Division below her former club.
