WATCH: Dramatic video shows car blaze on Lincoln Road in Peterborough
Lincoln Road had to be closed on Tuesday afternoon – after a car caught fire in the middle of the carriageway.
Dramatic footage of the blaze was caught on dashcam by Martynas Genutis.
Flames could be seen pouring out of the red car, as it stood stationary on the busy road, a few yards from the entrance to the Brotherhood Retail Park.
The video also shows fire fighters arriving to tackle the blaze – and they were at the incident for more than an hour, making sure the fire was extinguished, and the scene was safe.
The road had to be closed for some time while emergency services tackled the fire, causing major delays as parents travelled to pick up children from school.
