Home draw moved Peterborough United up a place ahead of tough Tuesday trip

Peterborough United moved up a place to 19th in League One on Saturday despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Burton Albion at the Weston Homes Stadium.

Posh, who started the day in 20th place, were overtaken by MK Dons who won for the first time this season, 2-1 at home to Luton Town, but managed to get past Barnsley and Blackpool who were both beaten.

Barnsley lost 2-1 at Oakwell to League One’s surprise package Cambridge United with the winner coming in the final minute, while Blackpool went down 2-0 at Leyton Orient. The Seasiders haven't won since thumping Posh 4-0 at Bloomfield Road in August. Cambridge have lost just once all season and are just a point off top spot in fifth.

Plymouth Argyle dropped from top to fourth after losing 2-0 to Huddersfield Town at Home Park. ‘The Terriers’ are third and host Posh on Tuesday (August 20).

Bradford City are back on top after beating Stevenage 2-0 at home and Stockport County are second after a Kyle Wootton goal saw off Bromley at Edgeley Park.

Bottom club Wigan Athletic won for the first time this season 1-0 at home to Reading, The Latics are now level on points with next-to-bottom Notts County who went down 2-0 at Wycombe Wanderers.

Biggest winners of the day were Sheffield Wednesday who smashed AFC Wimbledon 5-0 at Hillsborough.
