MATCH PREVIEW: Now it's time to pile up the points
Posh earned a trip to Villa Park with a 5-2 midweek demolition of Woking, but a 3-2 home defeat at the hands of Blackburn last weekend left them 10th in League One.
Posh travel to Fleetwood on Sunday (December 17) for the first of five League One games before they face Villa. They also tackle Bury (home. December 23), Bradford City (away, December 26), MK Dons (away, December 30) and Doncaster (home, January 1).

“It’s a tough game at Fleetwood, but it’s one we can win.”
Marriott scored twice against Woking to take his tally in all competitions this season to 17 goals.
He is the leading scorer in the top four divisions of English football, when only League and FA Cup goals are included, with 16, one more than Christian Doidge of League Two side Forest Green and two more than Leon Clarke of Championship club Sheffield United.
And Marriott is confident he can keep scoring.
““I’m lucky to play as a centre forward in this team as they create so many chances,” Maddison added.

“If I fall just short of my targets it means I’ve still had a good season. I’m hard on myself though, but I am ahead of my target at this stage of the season.”
Marriott’s teammates are in awe of his form.
Midfielder Michael Doughty said: “Jack is a real handful. He can score goals at any level, I have no doubt about that.”
Tickets are on sale for Posh’s mouthwatering festive trips to Bradford City (Boxing Day) and MK Dons (December 30).
