Posh are back in National League Northern Premier Division action against Norwich City at PIMS Park on Wednesday (October 28, 7.45pm).

Posh have won their last three National League games to move up to seventh place. Norwich are two points and one place below them.

Powerful centre-back Niamh Connor has left Posh after almost a decade with the club.

Connor was part of the Posh side that secured promotion to Tier 3 for the first time in the club's history, and is one of just six players to reach a century of appearances, She leaves having made 146 appearances and having scored 25 goals.

Connor said: “From the nervous 16-year-old girl stepping onto the pitch for the first time, to the player and person I am today, I will always be grateful for everything this club has given me.”

Posh boss Jake Poole added: "Niamh has been an influential part of the football club for a number of years and has significantly contributed to the growth and success of the team over those years.”
