LIVE BLOG: Posh vs Fulham

Key Events

  • Nathan Thompson suspended

  • Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored more league goals than Posh, 19 to 17

Dear me. Posh win a free-kick just beyond the centre circle in the Fulham half. Szmodics flicked the ball on to Hector’s arm. From the kick, Norburn passes it straight back to Kent, on his weaker foot, and he blasts a ball forward and out of play for a throw-in.

Posh have really cut out the ball going to Reed, who was pulling the strings, they’ve taken away the space in the midfield and Fulham aren’t knocking it around so easily anymore.

Ah, frustrating bit of play as Butler stps infront of Wilson to win the ball on the left, he sets off on a run after giving it to Dembele. He expects it back but Dembele pauses and plays a backheel pass straight into touch.

Good spell of the ball from Posh but need to find that bit more quality, the press has intensified in the last few minutes and Fulham were forced back. Taylor ends the move with a misplaced pass but that is more encouraging.

Long ball up from Ward to Szmodics, not a bad ball but there is no-one there to win the second one as Posh sitting too deep.

Taylor is fine. Almost a moment from Posh, long ball up from Cornell. JCH wins the flcik-on, Burrows looks interested as the ball bounces infront the the box but he’s just too far behind to catch up to it.

Fulham still moving the ball infront rather than behind than the Posh backline.Break as Taylor takes a knee in the back from Reed during an aerial challenge.

Ward starting off well at right back, dealing with Kebano well. A couple of key well-timed interceptions

Posh try to move the ball quickly, good opportunity seemed to present itself. Ward goes diagonal to Szmodics, he flicks it onto Butler who has space but its overhit and ahead of him. Posh seeing a bit more of the ball. Clarke-Harris struggling for a touch though.

Strong press from Fulham. Posh haven’t been able to find the quality of pass to get around it yet.
