It’s Peterborough United’s turn to try and stop the Fulham juggernaut in a Championship fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium today (November 6, 3pm).

LIVE BLOG: Posh vs Fulham

Key Events

  • 3pm kick off
  • Nathan Thompson suspended
  • Jonson Clarke-Harris heavily tipped to return to the starting line-up
  • Fulham sit second and have scored 43 goals, 16 more than anyone else
  • Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored more league goals than Posh, 19 to 17

Posh throw in the Fulham half. Ward passes back to Kent, Kent goes across to Beevers, Beevers passes out of play looking for Butler. Need to be much better than that. First time in the Fulham half.

Corner played short to the corner of the box, bypasses Szmodics while he is too busy trying to direct others. Kebano manages to swing at the ball with such force he knocks himself over though.

Reed catches out Ward out as he tries to step up, free on the left edge of the box tries to get a cross in but Cornell makes a block. Corner.

Posh have barely touched the ball. Sitting so deep and Fulham are passing the ball infront of them, no press to speak of yet.

Straight away, it’s a back four. Joe Ward is playing right back.

Today’s other fixtures

Barnsley vs Hull (BIG)

Birmingham vs Reading

Blackburn vs Sheffield United

Bournemouth vs Swansea

Cardiff vs Huddersfield

Coventry vs Bristol City

Luton vs Stoke

Millwall vs Derby

Nottingham Forest vs Preston

West Brom vs Middlesbrough

Blackpool vs QPR

I’d suggest that Posh have gone with a three with Butler, Kent and Beevers. Ronnie Edwards drops to the bench and Burrows and Ward are likely to operate as wing backs. Posh looked strong after switching to a four against Huddersfield but that would require Ward to play at right back in this linee-up, which would be quite a risk. Thompson is suspended after 5 yellow cards.

Marek Rodak, Denis Odoi, Michael Hector, Tim Ream, Antonee Robinson, Jean Michael Seri, Harrison Reed, Booby De Corodova-Reid, Harry Wilson, Neeskens Kebano, Aleksandar Mitrovic

Subs: Paulo Gazzaniga, Kenny Tete, Alfie Mawson, Josh Onomah, Tom Cairney, Fabio Carvalho, Rodrgio Muniz
