LIVE BLOG: Posh vs Fulham

Key Events

  • 3pm kick off
  • Nathan Thompson suspended
  • Jonson Clarke-Harris heavily tipped to return to the starting line-up
  • Fulham sit second and have scored 43 goals, 16 more than anyone else
  • Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored more league goals than Posh, 19 to 17

There’ the danger. Posh switch off, Wilson slips a through ball to Kebano on the right of the box, he sprints past Beevers but puts his shot into the side netting.

Posh head out a free-kick well. Then win their own when Ream pushes Dembele in the back. Chance to come again.

JCH is chopped down on the left edge of the Fulham box. Ward takes and shoots to the near corner, Rodak has to be at full stretch to keep it out. Posh will on top now.

38 mins 0-0 CHANCE

What a grat chance. JCH wins a flick-on to get Szmodics in behind Hector, the defnder recovers well and holds him up and Rodak comes out to block the angle for the shot but he still gets it away on the right of the box, going back across goal. It hits Rodak in what is probably Posh’s best chance so far.

Burrows loops it to the far side of the box, Beevers heads it on, it drops to Kent, who lays off with his head to Taylor. He wildly scuffs his effort though.

Posh corner. Butler overhits a ball into the box but Ward rescues the situation with a blocked effort.

33 mins HITS THE POST

Posh have hit the bar and it’s JCH. Kent chips a pass over the Fulham backline. JCH picks up just outside the box and prods towards goal with his weaker left foot before Hector gets back to cut him off. It hits the top of the left hand post.

Yellow card for Odoi. Excellent feet from Dembele brings the ball out from the left, drives into the middle and he’s tripped.

Half an hour in and this game hasn't exactly sparked into life but that probably suits Posh. They’re defiietely seeing more of the ball than the first ten minutes suggested they would. Burrows tries a ball into the box just then, not far ahead of Clarke-Harris.
