LIVE BLOG: Posh vs Fulham

Key Events

  • 3pm kick off
  • Nathan Thompson suspended
  • Jonson Clarke-Harris heavily tipped to return to the starting line-up
  • Fulham sit second and have scored 43 goals, 16 more than anyone else
  • Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored more league goals than Posh, 19 to 17

Definitely more intent from Fulham this half and Posh’s standards on the ball have slightly dropped. Giving it away too much and when the do have it in forward areas, the man on the ball is often struggling for options and just gets closed down.

The resulting corner causes plenty of problems too, Cornell comes out and gets lost in a crowd of bodies, the ball flicks off a head and drops not far wide of the far vacant post.

Right, now the pressure is coming, great reaction save from Cornell from Mitrovic’s effort after Tete’s cross. He was picked out on the penalty spot but Cornell showed a strong pair of hands to push the ball away. Great chance, would have wanted to put it further to either isde.

Poor goalkick Cornell. Scuffs it straight to Reed, he slips Mitrovic in. He shoots early and Cornell has the stretch hismelf to his left to make the save well off his line. Think that will still go down as their first shot on target.

The wind has picked up and Posh are now playing against it this half.

Early cross in from Fulham, Posh had not picked up Kebano on the edge of the box and are grateful he scoops his effort well over.

Odoi off, Kenney Tete on. Straight swap at right back. We’re back underway.

The conditions have definitely taken a turn for the worse at half time. There was a significant shower and now the darkness is rolling in as the teams return.

Great half from Posh, Szmodics and JCH both having chances to score. They will be much the happier side of half time.

Cardiff 0-1 Huddersfield
