Darragh MacAnthony and Barry Fry are 'dream makers' according to the Peterborough United manager
Peterborough United manager Luke Williams has described Darragh MacAnthony and Barry Fry as ‘dream makers’
Williams was speaking publicly about winger Kyrell Lisbie for the first time since the player’s big money move to Championship side Millwall. Lisbie had only moved to Posh from National League Braintree 12 months ago for a fee thought to be more than 10 times smaller than the selling price.

The manager repeated his insistence that the Posh chairman and director of football are working relentlessly towards bringing in new players before the start of the competitive season on August 8.

"We were sad to see Kyrell go, but we are delighted for him,” Williams told BBC Radio Cambs after a 2-1 friendly win at York City on Tuesday night. "It’s a huge move for an incredible servant to the club, albeit over a short time.
“And it’s clear the move has left the club in a better financial position. In fact if you were in business and you made this sort of investment and then return in just 12 months you’d probably be called Bill Gates! That’s the genius of Darragh and Barry over the last 20 years or so. They spotted a lad playing for Braintree, gave him the chance to play in the Football League, and now they’ve made his dreams come true with a life-changing move.
“The chairman has spoilt the players and staff really. He took us to Spain for a fantastic week and he’s improved the training ground for us. People don’t always see what he’s doing behind the scenes, which is normal, but trust me he is doing everything he can for us. I have full faith we will end up with a very decent squad.
“He’s also protecting the club. We love our fans and to us they are the best in the world, but we don’t get 100,000 of them through the gate.”
