Arsonists launch attack on Peterborough garage
Arsonists have launched an attack on a garage in Peterborough.
Emergency services were called to Branston Rise in Welland at about 10.25pm on Friday, October 23.
When they arrived, they found the garage on fire – and spent more than an hour tackling the flames.
An investigation has now revealed the fire was started by arsonists – and a witness appeal has been launched in a bid to bring the culprits to justice.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a garage. Wearing breathing apparatus, they used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
“They returned to their stations by 11.35pm.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
