Umami all-you-can-eat buffet launches Peterborough recruitment drive as opening of new Queensgate restaurant edges closer
The restaurant is set to open later this year
Umami World Kitchen has launched a recruitment drive for its new Peterborough restaurant, with four new roles up for grabs.
The all-you-can-eat buffet operator - which runs three other sites across England - is set to open its new restaurant in the Queensgate Shopping Centre later this year.
The new restaurant will occupy a 7,000 sq ft space next to the Odeon cinema on the Third Floor, with building work now underway.

Umami has now started recruiting staff ahead of its grand opening over the coming months.
Ranging from Head Chef to Assistant Manager, applications for the roles are now being accepted.
The Head Chef role offers a salary of between £42,000 and £45,000 per year, while the Assistant Manager role is listed at between £32,000 and £35,000.
While an opening date for the new restaurant is yet to be announced, a spokesperson for the Queensgate Shopping Centre recently told the Peterborough Telegraph that it will be “in the near future”.
Once open, the new all-you-can-eat buffet experience will showcase over 100 dishes drawn from multiple cuisines, including Chinese, Italian, Indian, and Malaysian.
The concept will include a mix of family-friendly favourites alongside street food, and a teppanyaki station for made-to-order Japanese dishes.
Guests can also enjoy exciting Chef’s Specials from Monday to Saturday for continued variety, as well as a traditional Sunday carvery.
