Rise in number of Peterborough pupils self isolating

The number of pupils in Peterborough self isolating due to coronavirus has risen in the past week, Peterborough City Council has said.

Today a council spokesman said 1,328 pupils and 39 members of school staff were self-isolating in the city, with 33 schools affected. Last week there were 1,245 pupils and 94 members of staff self-isolating in Peterborough from 36 schools.

A total of 89 staff and 1,740 pupils in Cambridgeshire are self-isolating
