Hide AdAll 96 patients who died at the two hospitals - which are both run by the trust - were aged between 30 and 98 and had pre-existing health conditions.
Chief executive of the trust Caroline Walker said: “I can confirm that, sadly, a total of 96 patients being cared for in our trust have passed away since we began reporting Covid-19 related deaths.
“There have been 34 at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and 62 at Peterborough City Hospital. Patients were aged 30 to 98 years old and had pre-existing health conditions. They had all tested positive for Covid-19.
“Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patients’ families and loved ones at this difficult time.”

Hide AdAcross the UK, a further 813 people in hospital with the virus have passed away.
The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Peterborough has reached 188.
The figure is 638 in Cambridgeshire, 748 in Lincolnshire and 975 in Northamptonshire.
