Local care home hosts online safety event
Bayleaf Care Home, in Huntingdon recently teamed up with Cambridgeshire Constabulary to invite residents, their friends and family and members of the local community to an informative presentation on Online Safety and Scam Awareness.

The presentation took place at the home on Thursday 25th June at 2pm, and provided the participants with the chance to learn about the various types of fraud, scams and an overview on how to stay safe online.
General Manager Katie Wilkinson said: “We are very grateful to Rachel from the Cybercrime and Fraud prevention team at Cambridgeshire Constabulary for coming to Bayleaf for the presentation. Many of our residents at the home use their own devices so it was important to ensure that they are informed on the new ways to protect them. It also provided our local community the opportunity to come to the home and learn about what is such an important topic. Here at Bayleaf Care Home we are always looking at new ways that we can provide support and advice about care to anyone who needs it”.
