A top prize of £600 on offer as snooker 'legends' converge on the Broadway Club
Peterborough's Broadway Club will play host to this Sunday's Snooker Classic, when 16 players will battle it out for the Tony Gregory Trophy and the £600 top prize.
First round ties of interest in the ‘Legends Tour’ event include 1998 World Amateur champion Luke Simmonds facing ex-professional Tony Brown, last month's Shoot-Out winner Gary Skipworth plays former Legends Tour number one Russell Huxter, city hopefuls Steve Martin and Graham Bradford have tough openers against Luke Pinches and Peter Devlin respectively, while home favourites Vaughan Lutkin and Darren Bampkin will tackle each other in a mouth-watering local encounter.
All first round matches are best-of-five frames, with the quarter-finals onwards best-of-three.
