It’s fair to say ‘exceeded all expectations’ and and ‘on course for a great career’ would be applicable for many individuals.
Here are the PT gradings for the season so far.
9. JOE RANDALL: B
The surprise star of the Posh season so far. Currently thriving as a ‘number 10’ and playing a big part in a very entertaining, attack-minded side. He’d have an A grade if his finishing had matched some outstanding approach play. Photo: Joe Dent
10. HARRISON BURROWS: B
Sure there are still flaws defensively, but they have been outweighed by the attacking contributions of the left-back who has four goals and seven assists in League One matches this season. Delivers a quality cross and plays with great enthusiasm, and now rewarded with the club captaincy. Photo: Joe Dent
11. JOSH KNIGHT: B+
The centre-back has not taken a backwards step after forcing his way into the starting line-up. His central defensive partnership with Edwards is rock solid and his ball-carrying skills on his regular surges forward are great to watch. Photo: Joe Dent
12. EPHRON MASON-CLARK: B+
It was a slow start to the season for the forward powerhouse, but once relieved of the burden of captaincy he was soon back to his best. A scorer of great goals. Photo: Joe Dent
