The Sam Hughes comeback gathers pace with a second appearance for Peterborough United Under 21s
The Sam Hughes comeback continues at Barnsley on Monday afternoon as the experienced centre-back plays for Peterborough United in a Professional Development Under 21 League match.
Hughes played his first competitive minutes for almost 18 months in last week’s Under 21 draw with Sheffield United. The 29 year-old played for a pre-planned 30 minutes and is expected to step up to 45 minutes today.
Transfer listed senior players Chris Conn-Clarke and Donay O’Brien-Brady have also been named in the Posh starting line-up for a 10m kick off.
