Full-back Mumba (20) scored on his Posh debut in an FA Cup tie against Bristol Rovers in January, but only started eight games for the club before returning to Carrow Road.
He’s one of many old boys lying in wait for Posh in the 2022-23 League One season, but should any of them be feared?
Mumba is doubtless a much better player than he showed at the Weston Homes Stadium where he was rarely deployed in his best position as a dashing right-back.
He gets a fear factor rating of 6/10. Other Posh old boys in League One are...

13. JONATHAN OBIKA - Morecambe
Posh apps/goals: 2/1. A striker who signed for Posh on loan from Spurs in January, 2011. He made two substitute appearances, scored a last-gasp winning goal against Brentford in his second, and never played again as the manager who signed him Gary Johnson, had been sacked in favour of Darren Ferguson's return to London Road. Played for many clubs and did okay at Swindon. Signed for Morecambe, who are Posh's first League One opponents at London Road this season, last summer, but rarely played. Fear factor 2/10. 14. KYLE DEMPSEY - Bolton Wanderers
Posh apps/goals: 11/0. An all action midfielder who moved to Posh on loan from Fleetwood in January, 2019, but suffered as soon as manager Steve Evans, who signed him, left the club at the end of that month. Eventually followed Evans to Gillingham and did well enough to earn a move to a bigger club last January. Bolton should be strong at League One level this season. Fear factor 7/10. 15. LLOYD ISGROVE - Bolton Wanderers
Posh apps/goals: 11/1. A winger who moved on loan to Posh from Southampton in March 2014 and appeared in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final winning side at Wembley that month. Only started three games for Posh though and endured many loan spells before settling at Swindon and now Bolton where he's become a potent player. Fear factor 7/10 Photo: Joe Dent

16. LUKE MCGEE - Forest Green Rovers
Posh apps/goals: 45/0. The on-loan Spurs goalkeeper enjoyed an excellent season at Posh in 2016-17. McGee (pictured left) moved permanenly to Portsmouth the following season and has spent the last two seasons at Forest Green, helping them to promotion from League Two last season. Fear factor 3/10.
