Posh apps/goals: 60/0. A high-class midfielder who joined Posh from Highland League football in 2008. Followed Darren Ferguson to Preston North End and played well for Sheffield United and Derby County before slipping down the leagues. Linked up with his former Fleetwood manager Joey Barton at Bristol Rovers last season and helped them to promotion. Never managed a goal for Posh, but scored from the penalty spot at London Road for Rovers in an FA Cup tie last season. Now 33 and so not so many glides forward as he managed for Posh. Posh apps/goals: 1/0. A former West Ham United youngster was given just one start at Posh in a 4-0 home League Cup defeat before he was sent packing... and boy has he enjoyed punishing his old club. Sadlier scored three times in two appearances for Doncaster against Posh in the 2019-20 season and must be licking his lips at the prospect of more this season in a vibrant Bolton side.
