NIgerian striker Dominic Iorfa was a cult figure when playing up front for Posh between 1992-94. He could be brilliant, but he was also often described as a 'waste of pace.' After retirement Iorfa became a well-travelled board member of the Nigerian Football Federation and chairman of Makurdi based Nigerian Premier League outfit Lobi Stars FC. Bert Murray, another member of the 1973-74 Posh Fourth Division title-winning side, became a the long-serving landlord of the White Horse and Bull Hotel establishments in Market Deeping.
