13. THE TAXI DRIVER
Adam Newton (pictured) played over 250 times for Posh and passed 'the Knowledge' to become a London taxi driver. Other ex-Posh players to take driving jobs include Ernie Moss and Tommy Robson with the latter acting as a courtesy driver for a local company late in his working career. Ashley Neal became a driving instructor, while Jon Nixon, scorer of a famous FA Cup winning goal for Posh against his old club Nottingham Forest in 1976, set up a company selling personal number plates alongside a former Forest teammate, Dave Needham.
