Summer signing is getting ready to showcase his skills after getting excited by Peterborough United's attacking style of play
The attacking philosophy of Peterborough United manager Luke Williams has been music to the ears of summer signing Owura Edwards.
The 25 year-old winger is expected to play in this evening’s second pre-season friendly of the summer, against Saudi Pro League side SC Neom at the Banus Football Centre in Marbella, Spain. Posh beat FC Magpies of Gibraltar 2-1 in their opening friendly on Tuesday.

Edwards moved to Posh from Colchester United after his contract at the League Two club expired in June. He’s signed a two-year deal with Posh with the option of a third season at London Road.
Edwards was buzzing about the move when he signed and his excitement has grown after working with, and listening to, manager Williams.
"Pre-season has been tough so far, but I’m learning every day and I’m excited about what comes next,” Edwards told the Posh Plus service. “I’m definitely excited by the style of football the manager wants us to play. He wants to set a good foundation defensively, but he wants maximum effort and penetration when we attack, and I come alive in those moments so it’s all exciting for me.
"We blew the cobwebs off in a competitive friendly this week. It was a good test for us and a good win. Every game you play, you should play to win.
"The aim for me is improve every day. I’m working with a great manager and great, better players. I’m on a journey to improve and to showcase what I’m about.
"I’ve been getting to know everyone a bit better on and off the pitch. I want to suss out their characters, while training and playing together will get us all in synch.”
Posh return to the UK over the weekend and then head to Colchester for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, July 21 (7.45pm kick off).
