Peterborough United fans react to the club's inactivity in the January transfer window and some are trusting their 'genius' manager

That’s a concern for some Posh fans who fancy a concerted push for the League One play-offs would need fresh signings, but others are far more relaxed and happy to put their faith in ‘genius’ first-team manager Luke Williams.

We asked Posh fans whether or not they were concerned with the current situation.

I'm assuming the 'no additions' message coming from the club isn't down to FFP as we've freed up £ on the wage bill this month, so it must genuinely be because LW doesn't want anyone new. I'd still like to see another forward though – @romysdad

If it’s fine with Luke Williams then I’m comfortable with it. He knows what he has in the building and you’ve got to trust that he’s happy. I wouldn’t bet against a DMac gem coming in a couple of hours before the window shuts though – @JamesGWesley

We have a very good manager who has done miracles with this squad so let's give him the support he needs in the summer – @DAVIDROYAILMAIL

Yes - this league is so poor, to be where we are after the start we had is madness. Need some reinforcements and that could be the difference between play-offs or missing out! – @GrantCatt1

Nope. If anything we could still do with losing a couple more. Training hard with what we have left and seeing where the season ends up and then working out what we need for a proper push next season – @JaidonAgius

I’d be putting all my efforts into getting Archie to stay. Then we can build in the summer – @mikeegee70

I should really think no, but we are close to the play-offs which is a surprise because of the awful start we had. We keep getting injuries so I still believe we need that little bit extra to see us over the line, just in case we get more bad luck – @CraigIsted

I’m happy with no additions – @AndrewKing1990

Definitely need a couple more – @BR_22__

Depends on the club’s ambition. No concern if they want a mid-table finish as the squad should now be more than good enough to pick up 58/60 points. Yes, if we hope for a play-off push and to try and get 70 plus points. Not enough quality to come in if we get injuries – @JefferiesTom

Not one bit. If the right players aren’t available now then I’d rather wait. The scattergun approach we saw over the last 2/3 windows has left us with players who aren’t good enough that can’t be shifted – @ShiellB1

Nope. I have 100% faith in Luke Williams. The guy is a genius as he has transformed us using just our ‘mediocre’ players – @Peter_POSH
