No home friendlies for Peterborough United this pre-season due to pitch works
Peterborough United will not play any pre-season friendlies at the Weston Homes Stadium in pre-season due to pitch works.
Work has already begun on the playing surface ahead of the 2025/26 campaign but with just eight weeks until the season starts (August 1), the decision has been taken to play all pre-season matches away from home to allow the works to be completed on time.
The club has yet to officially announce any pre-season friendlies at this stage and has said that they will do so in “due course.”
Several local non-league sides have announced their schedules, however, and it is known that a Posh side will travel to Peterborough Sports on Tuesday July 15 at 7:45pm.

Posh Under 21s will face Bourne Town at Abbey Lawn Tuesday July 22 at 7:45pm.
Regular pre-season opponents Stamford and Spalding have announced their fixtures with no game against Posh scheduled as of yet.
The Posh squad are expected to report back around June 18-19th before heading to St George’s Park on June 30.
