How Peterborough United's League One position could change by the close of play on Good Friday

Peterborough United stayed 12th in League One after Wigan Athletic and Leyton Orient played out a goalless draw at the Brick Community Stadium on Tuesday night.

A win for in-form Orient would have taken them above Posh and into the top half of the League One table. Instead the draw moved them up one place to 15th. Wigan have edged three points clear of the drop zone. Both teams have played two more games than Luke Williams’ side.

The biggest game towards the bottom of the table takes place on Good Friday when Blackpool host Exeter. The teams are separated by just two points, either side of the relegation line.

Williams is speaking to the local media early on Thursday afternoon ahead of the Posh trip to Luton Town tomorrow (3pm kick off). It’s possible Posh could be 16th after the Friday fixtures ahead of a home match against second-placed Cardiff City on Easter Monday (3pm).

Cardiff have no game tomorrow because of Port Vale’s FA Cup commitments.

Good Friday games…

Blackpool v Exeter

Bradford City v Cobblers

Burton v Barnsley

Doncaster v Mansfield

Huddersfield v Reading

Lincoln v Wimbledon

Luton v Posh

Plymouth v Bolton

Rotherham v Stevenage

Stockport v Wycombe
