Road closures to look out for in Peterborough

Roadworks which get under way across Peterborough this week are expected to cause delays as roads are closed to traffic.

Bath Road, Eye, will be closed for its entire length due to proposed works expected to take place tomorrow (23rd).

Vehicles will be prohibited from Oxney Road, Peterborough between Edgerley Drain Road and Pearces Road. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site, but it is anticipated that the works will take place between April 26 and April 30 . The alternative route for vehicles affected is: Pearces Road, Storeys Bar Road, Edgerley Drain Road and visa versa.

East Station Road will be closed at its junction with London Road. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site, but it is anticipated that the works will take place between April 29 and May 7.

The A605 Whittlesey Road will be closed for resurfacing between Toll Road and A605 Stanground bypass. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Whittlesey Road, A1139 Frank Perkins Parkway, A47, The Causeway, B1040, A605 West End, Peterborough Road, Kings Delph, and vice versa.

Closure dates will be confirmed locally but it is anticipated that the works will take place between May 3 and May 14.
