Werrington, Cranemore

From Monday, April 20, vehicles will be forbidden from travelling along Cranemore in Werrington, as it lies between 17 to 52 Cranemore and 37 to 47 Cranemore. This is to allow ducting works to be completed.

It is estimated the restrictions will remain in place until Friday, April 24, although actual closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.

Unfortunately, there is no alternative route in place for vehicles likely to be affected by this order.

Millfield, Parliament Street

From Tuesday, April 21, no traffic will be allowed to proceed along Parliament Street, as it lies between points approximately 20m either side of number 21. Pipe repair works are the reason for the closure.

While actual closure dates will be confirmed locally on site, it is anticipated that section of road will remain out of bounds until Wednesday, April 23.

Motorists can use either of the following two alternative routes:

1) Searjeant Street, Lincoln Road, Windmill Street (and vice versa).

2) Searjeant Street, Harris Street, Windmill Street (and vice versa).

Parnwell, Oxney Road

From Thursday, April 23, vehicles will be prohibited from using the dead end section of Oxney Road from the junction with Eyebury Road. This is to allow water connection works to be carried out.

The road is likely to remain closed until Friday, April 24. Actual closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.

Once again, there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order. Access to affected properties will be maintained.

Newborough, Thorney Road

Overnight cabling works will see Thorney Road in Newborough closed off between Crowland Road and a point approximately 40m west on Monday, April 20.

These works are scheduled to start at 9pm and conclude at 6am the following morning (Tuesday, April 21). Actual closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.

Drivers can bypass this disruption by following this diversion: A16, B1040, B1443 (and vice versa).
