Jail for Peterborough sex offender who targeted girl

A man from Peterborough has been jailed after performing a sexual act on himself in front of a child.

Police say that Paulius Grabauskas (31) was already on police bail for other offences when he approached a girl in Peterborough.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire police said: “Grabauskas had also been reported to police earlier after he exposed and touched himself inappropriately in view of other passengers on a bus in Peterborough.

“Grabauskas was reported to police once again after he was seen performing an indecent act in a bush near a school.”

Police say Grabauskas, of Eastfield Road, Peterborough, was jailed for two years and three months at Cambridge Crown Court after admitting two counts of exposure and one count of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.

He was also handed a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.

Det Sgt Angus Cashman said: “Grabauskas’ crimes will have a lasting impact on all of his victims.”
