Proposals would affect drivers and residents in Northfield Road

Peterborough City Council has announced it is looking to increase the number of parking options for residents living on a road in the Millfield area of the city.

In a public notice posted online on October 15, the council said it intended to install Resident Permit Holder Only parking bays along two sections of Northfield Road. These areas are identified as:

Northfield Road, as it lies between Alexandra Road and Exeter Road, and;
Northfield Road, as it lies between Exeter Road and St Paul’s Road.

The notice adds that the council is “open to feedback” on the proposals

Any person who would like to have their say on this decision has until Thursday, November 12 to share their thoughts.
