Police evacuate Bourne Grammar School following ‘suspicious’ phone call

Emergency services are currently in attendance at the school in South Road, Bourne after being called this morning.

A police spokesperson said: “We are in attendance at Bourne Grammar School in South Road, Bourne, following a call this morning reporting a suspicious phone call to the school.

“Emergency services are in attendance, and as a precautionary measure all pupils and staff at the school have been safely evacuated.

“Members of the public should avoid the area while emergency services attend.

“We are continuing to liaise with the school.”
