Disqualified driver three times over the limit among those arrested for drink driving in Peterborough this weekend

A disqualified driver who was also three times over the limit was among those arrested by Police for drink driving in Peterborough this weekend. (April 24-25).

Police were called to assist a driver who had broken down in Paston Ridings. When they arrived, however, they found the driver was disqualified from driving and therefore had no insurance and was also three times over the limit.

Police also responded after they were called by staff at McDonalds in Hampton who were concerned about the behaviour of a man believed to be drunk.

The man in his 20s was arrested after they found he was twice the legal drink drive limit.

The final incident took place in Viersen Platz. Police received reports of a car driving erratically and when they arrived found that he was just under twice the legal limit.

All three drivers have been charged and will appear in court over the next two months,
