We have teamed up with John and head chef Sabrina Catanese, who have spent the last year building up the pub’s food offering.
It is open for food Tuesday to Sunday, lunchtimes and evenings - although this offer is lunchtime from Tuesday to Saturday.

Hide AdDespite the chef being Italian, the food focus is on traditional English pub favourites, plus a few specials, prepared by chef Sabrina, mostly homemade.
The current menu features a range of starters, steak section, traditional main courses, plus a special selection, and all homemade desserts. There’s also a good range of healthy options, plus vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free alternatives.
Sunday roasts are especially popular – with unlimited roast potatoes and gravy. They also serve small portions for children, seniors, or anyone with smaller appetite.
The restaurant is separate to the bar and has recently been refurbished.

Hide AdThe menu is reviewed each season to reflect different tastes and they use local suppliers wherever possible: meats from Willow Brook Farm and Grasmere Farm; potatoes from Pearce; eggs from Stamford.
And they host regular food events - Mother’s Day is coming up, quarterly Malaysian themed nights with a local Malaysian chef, and monthly chef special nights – such as for seafood and steaks.
There is an ongoing special deal for Tuesday nights (2 people 2 courses plus drinks £25) and Wednesday nights (free bottle of wine).
And on Sundays through July and August the outside BBQ plus full bar will be open with acoustic music.
