Looking Back: Memories of my place of work
I took this image of Peterborough District Hospital shortly after it had closed in October 2010, when all services moved to the new City Hospital at Bretton, writes street photographer Chris Porsz.
As an A&E porter there from 74 to 86 and then serving as a paramedic for over thirty years It brings back some sad but mostly very fond memories of a wonderful career and place to work.
I know my nostalgia will be shared by generations of staff and patients since it first opened in 1969 and then demolished in 2015 to become a housing estate and West Town school.
