Peterborough placed into Tier 2 of new lockdown restrictions

The government has today announced that Peterborough will be moving into Tier 2 restrictions when lockdown ends on December 2.

The move was announced today (November 26) by Health Secretary Matt Hancock and will come into effect when national lockdown ends next Wednesday.

The news represents a rise for Peterborough as the city was in the lowest tier before the second lockdown.
