Team from Peterborough security firm set for another physical challenge to support good cause
A team of colleagues from a Peterborough security firm are planning a nine-mile hike to support a Lincolnshire charity.
Staff at Jensen Group Solutions are in training to take on their new fundraising feat for 2026 – a charity climb across Kinder Scout in the Peak District.
Taking place on Saturday 6 June, the challenge will see team members hike around nine miles over the course of four to five hours, starting from Edale, in Derbyshire.
Kinder Scout is the highest point of the Peak District national nature reserve. It features the iconic ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ stone steps, waterfalls, bridges and stunning views.

A spokesperson for the firm said: “The route is one of the Peak District’s most iconic and demanding landscapes, offering both physical and mental challenges.”
As reported in the Peterborough Telegraph last year, a team from the firm donned fancy dress to complete an ascent of Mount Snowdon in Wales – raising £2,110 for charity.
Encouraged by that achievement, staff at Jensen Group Solutions are now aiming to go even further this year.
Funds raised will once again support Lincolnshire sports and education charity Inspire+ which is dedicated to helping young people become healthy, happy, and active.
The spokesperson added: “Inspire+ works closely with schools and communities across Lincolnshire, delivering PE provision, apprenticeships, and community programmes that support children and families who need it most.
“By taking on the 2026 Peak District Charity Climb, Jensen Group Solutions hopes to raise vital funds while highlighting the importance of physical activity, teamwork, and giving back to the community.”
