This will consist of £5000 to spend on technology (laptops, desktops and tablets from a Screwfix approved supplier), £10,000 worth of credit to spend at Screwfix and an allowance of up to £5000 to spend on career enhancing courses/workshops (e.g. website design, social media, business accounts, finance, specialist trade courses.)

The winner will also receive digital skills training and a series of bespoke one-to-one mentoring sessions from Google to help their business stay at the top of their game online.

The competition was open to anyone tradesperson, not working for Screwfix, over the age of 18 in the UK or Republic of Ireland. Adriano was selected from over 2500 entries.

He will take part in the virtual final across two days next week and will aim to impress a panel of judges with his passion for the trade and brilliant customer service.
