The highly acclaimed stage comedy, Hangmen, is set to be screened live from London's West End to Peterborough's Showcase Cinema on Thursday (March 3)

After 10 years, Olivier and Academy Award® winner Martin McDonagh returns to the stage with Matthew Dunster’s award winning production of this black-comedy play.

Set in the 1960s, Hangmen is based on Harry Wade, Britain’s second-best professional executioner, who finds himself with nothing to do on the day they’ve banned hanging. Being a local celebrity in his home town, pub regulars and reporters head to his pub desperate to hear his reaction to the news, all with different motives behind their visit.
