RUGBY: Gulland scores two tries on his Lions debut
There was an impressive performance by Peterborough Lions in a pre-season warm-up game this afternoon (August 13).
The National League Division Three side took on Saffron Walden from London Division One and ran out handsome 34-15 winners.
New back row signing Tom Gulland scored two tries on his debut with Joe Anderson and Ryan Morris, two more debutants, also crossing.
Will Carrington and Chris Humphrey made it six tries with Carrington adding two conversions.
The Lions start their league fixtures on September 3 at home to Derby.
