MINOR COUNTIES: Cambs complete season against leaders

Cambridgeshire complete their Unicorns Championship season against Northumberland at Jesmond (August 14-16).

It’s a tough finish for Cambs as the home side are top of the Eastern Division and need a strong finish to fend off the challenge of Lincolnshire.

Cambs are fourth which isn’#t a bad effport for a team rocked by a season-ending winter injury suffered by inspirational captain Paul McMahon.

The usual Peterborough Town and Wisbech players are involved. Town’s Lewis Bruce will skipper a side that includes clubmates Joe Dawborn and Asim Butt as well as in-form Fenmen Sam Rippington, Josh Bowers and James Williams.
