POSH REACTION: Not a lot to shout about for the Peterborough United players
Posh boss Graham Westley was furious with his side’s display and the Peterborough Telegraph’s Posh writer wasn’t impressed either as Fleetwood coasted to a 2-0 success.
Ben Alnwick: Couldn’t do a lot about the goals, made some routine saves from shots from distance, but his kicking was awful 5

Hide AdMichael Smith: Looked laboured in and out of possession. Not a night to remember and looked far weaker than his Northern Irish right-back rival Conor McLaughlin in the Fleetwood side 5
Kgosi Nthle: A surprise selection and never really threatened to explain it with his performance. Erratic on the ball and his positioning defensively was woeful 4
Gaby Zakuani: Tried hard to repel regular home attacks, Far from foot perfect, but better than most. Good attitude 6
Michael Bostwick: A night to forget for the team’s leader. Picked up a ridiculous caution in the third minute and saw a penalty saved that would have dragged Posh level just before the break. Solid defensive effort 5

Hide AdSimon Gillett: This was hard going for a midfielder who was asked to cover too much ground. Caught in possession too often, and too easily out-manouevred, and no surprise when he was substituted early in the second half 4
Harry Beautyman: Never threatened to match recent endeavours. Fleetwood were dominant in most areas, but particularly in midfield. Beautyman tried hard, but was out-matched here 5
Marcus Maddison: For the first time recently he was met by a skilled defender with pace and as a result he was ineffective apart from one early shot that was saved and a couple of late crosses 5
Lee Angol: A combative display, not much of it was well-directed. Struggled to get into the game 5

Hide AdShaquile Coulthirst: Played with a lot of energy and plenty of pace. Gave the ball away a lot and ran up blind alleys, but it was his excellent surge that won Posh a penalty. He is exempt from criticisms relating to a lack of passion 6
Aaron Williams: He’s found the last two games, with the change of formation, difficult. He plays in the most advanced yet struggles to hold the ball up when challenged by powerful defenders 5
