Peterborough United’s win down to perfect timing according to Oxford United manager
Robinson felt his side were on top when Joe Ward lobbed Posh into the lead in the 43rd minute and again when Siriki Dembele made the points safe midway through the second-half.
The win moved Posh up to fourth and Oxford are now rooted to the bottom of the table after four defeats in five outings.

Hide AdRobinson told the Oxford Mail: “I thought we were very good in the last 25 minutes of the first half. It’s just we can’t seem to score at the moment.
“I don’t know what’s going on and then a lapse in concentration and all of a sudden I’m sat down there bewildered by a goal, thinking ‘where did that come from?’
“Weirdly their two goals came when we were most in control.
“I thought we were exceptional in the first 20 minutes of the second half.
“We got in some great areas and didn’t take the chances, against a good team.
“Then we under-hit a pass, they break and score a second goal and all of a sudden you’re trying to climb a mountain.”
