A number of Posh’s fringe players put on a show to remind Darren Ferguson of the value they have and it was a comfortable night for the defence, although goalkeeper Fynn Talley still managed to stand out and make another penalty save.
RATINGS KEY: 10-Out of the World, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Stinker.
5. ZAK STURGE
Solid enough and sent a couple of well-directed balls into the box but he never quite does enough to stand out or convince that he has a chance of pushing Burrows for the position. 6. Photo: Joe Dent
6. DAVID AJIBOYE
Started to come to life in the second half and showed some great skill to beat his poor full back but didn't convert that into much. Had a good opportunity to stand out against a young side and didn't really. 6. Photo: Joe Dent
7. ARCHIE COLLINS
Showed why he has been reluctant to shoot at times. Two poor finishes from promising positions around the edge of the box. Looked much more comfortable picking out teammates in the same position. 6. Photo: Joe Dent
8. JEANDO FUCHS
No surprise that a player of his quality dominated the midfield against such opposition but he really announced his return from injury. He was excellent in the middle and even played a good role in the second, setting up Clarke-Harris. He also set up the third and a couple of other great chances for Mothersille. 8.5 Photo: Joe Dent
