Peterborough United played ‘sublime football’ in their ‘best performance of the season’, many man-of-the-match nominations and among the improvements needed are extra ballboys!
Posh collected a third straight League One win yesterday (October 13) as Oxford United were vanquished 2-0 at the Weston Homes Stadium thanks to goals from Joe Ward and Siriki Dembele.
We asked Posh fans to nominate a man-of-the-match and to suggest where any improvements should be made. All replies to @PTAlanSwann on Twitter.

Hide AdImpossible to name one MOM. Pym, Thompson and Ward all unplayable.
@campufc
Ward MOM. Fergie needs to employ 4000 ball boys/girls to keep the game flowing.
@martyntiney
Joe Ward MOM and more shots on target please.
@eddiedixon461
Frankie Kent. Composure in front of goal. With that we could have been three up before we scored. Really pleased with the performance.
@CHAMM24
Thompson was as usual, amazing first half. But man of the match for me is probably Kent. He was brilliant 2nd half. A lot came at him, and he was rock solid. Pym faultless again. Some sublime football played first half, some spells were the best we’ve played all season.

Hide AdJack Taylor MOM. Lack of pace through the middle up top could be an issue going forward.
@gavincave66
Kent easily MOM and need to get JCH sharper as he’d have had a couple of goals in the first half if he was.
@juppy95
MOM: First-half Ward, second-half Kent, overall Pym.
@poshskin1965
Kent MOM. Not much improvement needed. Posh are looking solid. I’d say the link up between the top three could be better, but it will come. They’ve not been playing together long.
@matthewferro85
Kent MOM. Not sure Szmodics is match fit yet. Might be worth starting Broom on Tuesday.
@AndrewS01534147
Thompson MOM again.

Hide AdKent MOM. JCH needs to be stronger and take the ice skates off, falls too easily and seemed to struggle to get involved today. Overall fantastic team performance and looking very solid.
@jason_jones75
MOM Frankie Kent. No improvements really needed as looked solid defensively and offensively.
@Alexnelson2004
Kent was MOM for me, although I’d like to see the defence be more decisive at times and get rid when necessary. On another day those mistakes could have cost us dear. JCH could do with a goal or two also.
@rephotographyYT
MOM Kent. Just need a bit more sharpness up front. Looking promising. Best performance of the season so far.

Hide AdPym MOM for me. Vital saves at crucial moments in the game. didn’t put a foot wrong all day and looks a very solid keeper at this level now. Mentions for Kent, Ward and Thompson as well.
@The_real_Bats
Joe Ward MOM. Fulfilling his potential this season.
@eamonnduff
Reece Brown was impressive in a good win over a decent side. All Fergie needs to do is improve the away form as the home form is outstanding.
@romysdad
Joe Ward would be my man of the match, with his goal and assist. But there was some competition from Thompson, Pym and Taylor. One improvement from Fergie could be bringing on his subs a bit quicker. Possibly a start for Eisa against Hull witch games coming thick and fast?
