DARTS: '˜Wolfie' sails through opening match in the World Trophy
The Deeping darts legend crushed outclassed Latvian Madars Razma 6-1 in the opening round and will now face the winner of this afternoon’s first round clash betwewen Dave Cameron of Canada and Dean Reynolds of Wales in the last 16 round. That game is scehduled for 9.30pm tonight.
Adams, three times a world championship winner at the famous Lakeside venue in Surrey, turned in some classy darts to thrill the crowd but at times struggled to hit his doubles.

Hide AdBut the erratic 27 year-old Latvian was never able to cash in.
Adams, the oldest man man in the £150,000 tournament at 59 years-old, finsihed with a throw average of 88.91 and a dart average of 29.64. He hit 14 ton-plus scores, three 140s and three 180s.
Adams said: “I love it here. I loved every minute of it out there. I knew what to expect whereas Razma wasn’t used to the big occasion.
“So it’s happy days for me and I’m looking forward to the next match. I don’t who I’m playing but it’ll be another game of darts and more fun.
“Winning at these big tournaments is all about knowing when to practice and for how long.”
