Last season’s Jaidka Cup finalists, champions Bourne and runners-up Peterborough Town, face an early clash in the 2017 competition.

Only eight teams have entered the area’s most prestigious Twenty/20 tournament this season and geography has dictated there will be one group of five and another of three.

Peterborough Town's Joe Dawborn is bowled by Bourne's Colin Cheer in last season's Jaidka Cup Final.

Bourne will open their defence against Deeping in a group that also contains Nassington, Castor and Peterborough Town.

Cambs League rivals Wisbech, Ramsey and March contest the second group (they will play each other twice) with the top two qualifying for the semi-finals.

The tournament starts on Wednesday, May 3 with the final scheduled for Wednesday, June 28.
