A47 to be closed in Peterborough for roadworks

Roadworks are set to take place on part of the A47 in Peterborough.

Highways England will be carrying out works by Thorney which include: carriageway resurfacing, the replacement of vehicle safety barriers, the renewal of road markings and studs, electronic sign renewal and general routine maintenance works.

The works are expected to take place over approximately nine nights (8pm to 6am) starting on or after Monday, November 30, with speed limits of 40mph and 50mph introduced 24 hours daily and full road closures at times.

The works are due to take place both eastbound and westbound, both sides of the B1167 and B1040 junctions.
