Resident treated for minor burns after fire spreads through homes in Glinton

A householder was treated for minor burns after a fire spread through two homes in Glinton yesterday, Wednesday August 17.

Crews from Dogsthorpe, Stanground, Market Deeping and Kings Lynn were called to the blaze at 3.57pm.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire affecting two houses on Oak Road, with the fire spreading to the roof space. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels.

One casualty required treatment for minor burns at the scene.

The crews returned to their stations by 6.20pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
