Police were called to a Peterborough street after a car overturned yesterday evening (April 22).

The incident happened along Welland Road just before 6:30pm on Thursday and appeared to happen as a result of a black Volkswagen Golf travelling at excess speed before colliding with a parked Peugout.

The resulting impact turned the golf over onto its roof and caused the road to be blocked for a short period of time.
