Here are 23 of the warm spaces in Peterborough where you can go this winter

Get out of the cold this Christmas by visiting any of these warm banks in Peterborough.
Volunteers from charities, businesses and organisations across Peterborough have come together to create warm spaces for residents who cannot afford to heat their homes this winter due to the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Below is a list of those in the city and when they can be accessed.
21. St Michael's Church Community Hub and Safe Space
Mace Road, PE2 8RQ. 07976 523 555. Email: [email protected]. Opening times: Cafe open from 9am to 2pm each Wednesday, apart from the week between Christmas and New Year. Saturday Hub between 11am and 4pm from 3 December but closed on 24 and 31 December. An informal breakfast available on Christmas Day from 9am to 10.30am. Can do deliveries at other times and appointments.

The Alpha Centre, Adderley, Bretton, PE3 8RA. 01733 306 401. Email: [email protected]. Opening times: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - 9.30am to 12 noon. Wednesday - 9.30am to 5pm. Community Cafe every morning from 9.30am to 12 noon. Bacon sandwiches on Thursday morning from 9.30am to 12 noon. Wednesday Community Cafe in morning until 12 noon with lunch available from 1pm. Hot food available until 4pm. Warm space available until 5pm. Fresh food / fruit / non-perishable items available during cafe times.
Christmas arrangements - cafe is closed between Christmas and New Year on 26, 27, 28, 29 December, but someone will be at the venue if you're desperately in need of support. Cafe is closed on 19 December due to other events but still open for food help on 19 and 20 December between 9.30am and 12 noon, 21 December between 9.30am and 5pm and 22 December between 9.30am and 12 noon. Normal opening hours but with no cafe, hot food or other activities. Just available to help supply food and basic essentials.
